AusGroup Limited (“AusGroup”) is pleased to announce further work has been awarded to subsidiary AGC Industries Pty Ltd (“AGC”) by thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions for work on BHP WA
Iron Ore’s South Flank Project.

AGC was initially awarded the supply, fabrication, surface treatment, trial assembly and delivery of the RC03 reclaimer substructure in June, with the works well underway at the Company’s Kwinana facility. With significant progress made, thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions has awarded AGC an additional five fabrication packages for the BHP WA Iron Ore’s South Flank Project worth approximately AU$12 million, bringing the total contract value to around AU$18 million. The increased scope includes the supply, fabrication, surface treatment, trial assembly and delivery of the Bucket Wheel Boom, Slew Deck & Pylon, Pantograph, Counterweight Boom and the Mast, all of which will be manufactured at AGC’s strategically located Kwinana Maintenance Hub. This opportunity will create ongoing work for approximately 100 trades related local jobs at the Kwinana Maintenance Hub.
