AGC subsidiary MAS Australasia Pty Ltd is pleased to announce the award of a contract by CB&I Kentz Joint Venture (CKJV) for the supply of scaffolding material on the Chevron-operated Gorgon Project.

MAS will be providing 1,418 tonnes of scaffolding material for the project. This is in addition to the initial 6,100 tonnes provided for the original contract awarded in June 2014. The material is used to allow access for the completion of modules, ancillary structures and equipment for trades services being carried out on Barrow Island.

The Gorgon Project is one of the world’s largest natural gas projects and the largest single resource development in Australia’s history. It is operated by an Australian subsidiary of Chevron and is a joint venture of the Australian subsidiaries of Chevron (47.3 percent), ExxonMobil (25 percent), Shell (25 percent), Osaka Gas (1.25 percent), Tokyo Gas (1 percent) and Chubu Electric Power (0.417 percent).
